Lord of Couch...And pesto

I've been spending a lot of time watching TV the last few days...A wide range of things...Tonight it was the Nicholas Cage movie Lord of War. Not exactly a feel good movie. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't buy it and watch it with Ben and jerry on a Saturday night.
In addition to my excessive TV watching the last few days, I've been eating a lot of pesto. I made it myself on Sunday...I love pesto...I've put it on spaghetti, bread, in scrambled eggs and a grilled cheese sandwich. I wonder what I'll do with it tomorrow??

2 posts in a week! O MY!

Oh the silly things I do...

Those who know me, know I have a tendency to do things impulsively. I've been known to just go out to the store and buy major things for myself and others with no planning...Or I'll decide to take an weekend trip with only a day or two notice. Well, last week was one of those times. My work schedule came out on Wednesday and my days off fell on Monday and Tuesday. Two days off in a row are rare, and I needed to get an entertainment center for my new apartment. I looked all over this area and couldn't find anything I liked, but I did find something I loved on ikea.com. Well, the closest ikea is near my dalian moon (my sis) outside Chicago. DO you see where this is going? Dad was also off on Monday and Tuesday, so I convinced him to go with me on my little adventure. We drove to Chicago on Monday, spent the evening with my cutie nephew and his hot mama, shopped on Tuesday morning and were back before 9 that night. A most successful trip.

I'm moving out!

So, I decided that I'm not good at blogs... Sorry jinx. I promise I'll do better.
Moving on and moving out. Wait!? What!? That would be me. Yes, I'm getting my own place. I just got approved today for a nice little one bedroom not far from here. I move in on the 13th of February and am taking donations of cash and gift cards for my new life alone.

ps-juliet & dad, now that i'm poor, it would be great if you could get me the $ you owe me for grandpas christmas present.
